Story

Far Ago Hill

Far Ago Hill Canyonleigh Reserve Pinot Gris is produced by Katrina Hill, (a Sydney based interior designer and colour consultant) in her boutique vineyard located at Canyonleigh, NSW.

It is served in high calibre venues such as Aria, Rockpool, The Boathouse at Blackwattle Bay, Seans Panorama, The Four-in-Hand, City Tattersalls, Bentley Bar, Bambini Trust, Cottage Point Inn, Danks Street Depot, Cotton Duck, Neild Avenue, and The Australian Golf Club.

Qantas purchased and served the Gris, paired to their Neil Perry tasting menu, for their domestic business class lounges in 2010.
Sails at Lavender Bay and 2UE served the Gris at their co-hosted “A Taste of NSW Wine Lunch” in August 2011, where the Pinot Gris was selected to be served with the entree course.

Katrina Hill (Vigneron)

Katrina is a Sydney based interior designer and colour consultant with a passion for wide vistas, big skies and wine. What started as a small weekend retreat in 2001, became a passionate affair with the land. When she is not colouring or designing, she is working in the vineyard, either manually, or using the good “toys” (tractor, bobcat, slashers and sprayers).
